Breeding means taking on a responsibility that lasts over time

Ethical breeding is a commitment that extends far beyond producing puppies. We work only with certified pedigrees and proven lines, planning each litter after in-depth studies and consultations with veterinarians and breed specialists. Our dogs undergo genetic tests and health screenings, and their character and behaviour are carefully evaluated. We limit the number of litters to focus on quality and follow each family with guidance and support throughout the dog's life.
Our selection method
Health
Our breeding dogs undergo comprehensive health screenings. We test for hip and elbow dysplasia, have veterinary eye examinations and perform DNA tests for hereditary conditions such as CEA, TNS and MDR1. Only dogs with clear results are included in our program to preserve the breed's health.
Temperament
We assess temperament through observation of stability, sociability and work aptitude. Our dogs are selected not only for morphological correctness but also for balanced character, responsiveness and adaptability.
Environment
Our dogs and puppies live in our home and share daily life with us. From birth they encounter varied sounds, textures, people and other animals. This early socialisation lays the foundation for balanced adult dogs.
The Roots of Our Project
Our journey began many years ago together with Rolando Mattolini, a passionate breeder and profound connoisseur of the breed, who passed away in 2012.
With him, we built an approach based on study, respect, and responsibility toward each individual dog. Selection was never guided by urgency or by the demand of the moment, but by a clear and consistent vision over time.
Today that journey continues with the same principles. The shared experience has become the foundation of our philosophy: breeding means safeguarding a genetic and temperamental heritage with seriousness and continuity.

What Our Breeding Program Is Not
- We do not place a puppy without an in-depth discussion with the family.
- We do not select based solely on aesthetics.
- We do not consider the dog a product to be delivered quickly.
Every choice requires time, evaluation, and responsibility. We prefer to forgo a placement rather than compromise the consistency of our work.
A Commitment That Continues After Placement
The relationship with families does not end with the delivery of the puppy.
We remain available over time for support, discussion, and guidance throughout the dog's growth.
We believe that the quality of a breeding program is also measured in the years that follow, in the stability of the adult dogs and in the serenity of the families who welcome them.
Who Our Path Is Suitable For
Our project is designed for families who:
Want a dog as a stable member of the family;
Understand the commitment involved in raising a dog;
Accept a process of mutual understanding and evaluation;
Are not seeking immediate availability, but quality and consistency,
If you share these values, you can learn more in the Contact section.
